MEN BEHAVING DADLY: Get Involved! Get Connected! Get Powerful!

Our 2008 Men Behaving Dadly Statewide conference was held June 21, 2008 in Savannah, GA. This conference featured Mr. Steve Swenson, adoptive dad, and Mr. Verdell Daniels, foster dad, as our keynote speakers of the day. We also had a panel of Dads made up of five Dads. Our panel had over 100 years of experience collectively.

All of our Dads who spoke that day were parents of children by birth and/or adoption with exceptional needs such as LD, ADHD, & RAD. Two of the Dads had adopted transracially and transculturally. The panel addressed discipline, "The IEP meeting", and Advocacy for your child. Here are some pictures from the day as well as a pod cast from the panel... listen in on the panel answering questions.
